A New Day
        
                       
               It’s a new day.
               The past is gone
            and all there is. . .
             is today, a new day.
                       
              I will take today
             and make it the best
               day of my life.
                       
               I will give this
               day all that God
            has given me to give.
                       
              Today I will begin
             to build my future.
                       
               I will live life
                to its fullest
                  right now
                 right here.
                       
               I will be happy
                just to be the
              best that I can be
               on this new day.
