Gratitude
                  
                  
    For the beauty which can be
    found in that which is ugly,
   the good which filters through
      the bad moments of life.
                  
    For the sunshine which peeks
    through the thickest cloud,
         a smile when tears
         rule my emotions.
                  
       For friends in a world
        filled with strife,
       peace and tranquility
      amidst fear and turmoil.
                  
   For a listening ear to quench
       my thirst to be heard.
    Understanding when confusion
          clouds my mind.
                  
   For the privilege to be alive
       and finally, for love.
