The Greatest Gift Of All
Based on 1st Corinthians 13:1-13 - The Holy Bible
                  
                  
                  
The greatest gift to give and receive is love.
Because even if we are the smartest,
richest and most powerful people on earth,
       but do not have love,
      we have nothing at all.
                  
If we give everything we own to the poor,
and even sacrifice ourselves for others,
       but do not give love,
  we’ve given absolutely nothing.
                  
For to give love is to be patient and kind.
            Giving love 
      means we aren’t jealous,
        conceited or proud.
                  
          People who love
     don’t nag or tease others.
Even though others might hurt them,
      they don’t hold grudges.
                  
 Love seeks out the good in people.
   When we give and receive love,
the truth is exchanged and evil is defeated.
                  
 Love will outlast all other gifts.
It will not break like some plastics,
nor will it rust like some metals, 
Love will still be in fashion next year
 and it won’t be torn or tattered.
                  
When all of our other gifts are gone,
         love will remain,
because love is the greatest gift of all.
